A prayer is all we’ll need
Not too much tinsel or sparkle
Just a simple holy creed.

for the lonely and the sick
Ask that someone will remember them
With a gift from “old saint Nick”.

For those who are not here …..
Close family, friends and neighbours
Who have left us this year.
May this little prayer this Christmas
Bring comfort – albeit it small …
It comes with a blessing for hope and joy
from our Lord Jesus Christ - God of all.
Take away this prayer this Christmas
And ask that suffering may cease
Ask that love and faith may help us through each challenge
And once more find inner peace.
